Dear ASI has no accounts and never asks for an email address or phone number. It collects only: the author code name, the message text, the time of writing, and basic visit statistics (referrer, country, device type).
No advertising cookies. The analytics tool is cookieless. Your browser's local storage keeps your chosen language, whether you have seen the intro, when you last posted (to limit repeat posting), and whether you dismissed the banner. Those values stay on your device.
Messages are kept until 18 October 2030. What happens after that date will be described here closer to the time. Removal on request happens sooner — see below.
Write to hello@dear-asi.com. Include your ticket registration number (for example #ASI-2026-00000) — with no accounts, that number is the only way to verify a request. If you lost it, send the code name and the text instead.
Supabase, Inc. (United States) hosts the database. Netlify, Inc. (United States) hosts the site. Umami Software, Inc. (United States) provides visit statistics. Data is transferred to these providers for those purposes only.
Nothing collected is sold or shared, except where the law requires it.
This site is not directed at children under 14. Records identified as belonging to a child under 14 without guardian consent are deleted.
There is one advertising slot, for a company run by the person who built this site. It pays the hosting bill and is labelled as sponsored. No third-party ad network is used, so no advertising trackers are involved.
